A HARPERS BAZAAR 'WORLD'S BEST TREEHOUSE'
The retreat begins here; a picturesque, boutique resort with 360 degree panoramic views of turquoise sea and rich emerald jungle. Experience a wellness program of rest, exercise and mindfulness, whilst taking part in unique activities within the natural surroundings. From coconut tree climbs, barefoot walks, a magical float down Mida creek, to a snorkel journey with tropical fish and dolphins.
A CLASSIC TENTED SAFARI CAMP
After 5 nights by the Indian Ocean, we venture deeper to discover the rugged landscape of Mbulia Hills, with sweeping views over the Tsavo plains and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance. A gorgeous safari lodge awaits us at Kipalo Hills, set in a remote private concession bordering Tsavo National Parks. Nestled in the lush forests, Kipalo offers a unique mix of intimacy and true wilderness, ripe for exploring the region's abundant offerings with a combination of bush walks, day and night game drives.
An opportunity to give back to the local community is available during the week with our partnered environmental projects. Our retreat schedule includes taking part in the Watamu community's weekly beach clean to support their marine conservation efforts. Part of your retreat investment is paid directly towards environmental conservation, both at Tsavo National Parks and to Mbulia Hills. Conservation fees go towards running the conservancy and protecting the wildlife, as well as towards social welfare projects for the Mbulia community.
